MISF is an all-volunteer organization which assists independent scholars (see Mission). We would love to see you at our events or have you tell us how we can help with your scholarly pursuits. Like all small non-profit groups, we are happy to receive donations, which are tax-deductible. You can donate to us by sending us a check directly (see Mailing Address) or by donating through GiveMN. 	GiveMN is Minnesota’s front door for charitable giving. Their goal is to create an unparalleled state of giving in Minnesota. Use their site to make online donations anytime from anywhere, including their Give-To-The-Max day, usually in November. Through GiveMN, you can track your giving and set up ongoing contributions.
	Guidestar seeks to revolutionize philanthropy by providing information that advances transparency, enabling users to make better decisions, and encouraging charitable giving. Guidestar is a 501(c)(3) public charity that collects, organizes, and presents the information donors want in an easy-to-understand format while remaining neutral.
