Project Types

MISF supports two kinds of grant-enabled projects: 1) projects enabled by grants made directly to MISF as grantee, and 2) projects enabled by grants made to individual persons, but for which MISF performs the grantor-required role of Fiscal Agent.

In the first type of project, MISF plans and directs the activities of the project. In the second, the planning and execution of the project is done by the individual grantees, with the Fiscal Agency role confined to releasing funds to the grantee as project checkpoints are arrived at.
